NPLA’s Plaintiffs’ Firm Map

There has never been a centralized source for discovering plaintiffs’ firms until now.

Map Features

  • Crowdsourcing

Any map viewer can suggest that a plaintiffs’ firm be added to the map. Our team will review and approve the suggestion. No sign in required!

  • Filter by Practice Area

Map viewers can filter by practice area, including financial litigation, data privacy, consumer protection, class/mass actions, personal injury, civil rights, and much more!

  • Find Firms Near You

See plaintiffs’ firms and office locations nearest to you (this may require allowing your browser to access your current location).

  • Submit Edit Suggestions

Any map viewer can submit suggested edits to existing firm points (e.g., adding/removing practice area tags, or adding information to the firm description).

  • Free Access for Everyone

Any user can access all of the map’s features for free without signing in or creating an account, so be sure to share the map with friends, firms, and fellow students!

  • Coming Soon

We’re continuously working to add firms and features to our map, including filters for firms that offer fellowships, hire summer associates, and more!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • To add a new "point" to the map, click the "Add Firm" button. Start typing the name or address of the firm in the "Location" field and the map will autofill the location. Fill out the rest of the fields to the best of your ability. After you submit, an NPLA team member will review and approve your addition to the map!

  • If you you'd like to suggest an edit to an existing point on the map (e.g., add another practice area tag), click "Suggest an Edit" button for that point! Our team will review the suggestion and implement it accordingly.

  • If you are interested in a firm on the map, check out their website! If you want to find out whether other NPLA members have worked at that firm, you can send a message in our Discord community.

  • Yes! If you work at a law firm that is not currently on the map, you can add the firm to the map.

  • No. The map is created entirely through crowdsourcing. A firm's inclusion on the map is not an advertisement/endorsement for the firm as either an employer or as a provider of legal services.
